As we celebrate the 250th Anniversary of America – Land of the Free and Home of the Brave – we can stop and reflect on the idea of home. Home is a place where you feel like you belong. Ridgefield is my home! I graduated from Ridgefield Public Schools, and I even met my husband, Robb, here 47 years ago. I have served as President of Downtown Ridgefield and am currently on the Board of Directors of the Ridgefield Chamber of Commerce. I am also Co-President of Angel of Ridgefield, a local non-profit that was started with my sister, Siobhan, and Co-President of Ridgefield Commemorates America at 250. I have come to treasure the small-town wonder that is Ridgefield. Along with my husband and identical twin sons, I am proud to be a part of the Property Twins Team at Houlihan Lawrence, helping people discover and buy their homes. In this issue you will find an article on the symbolism of our flag and an overview of culminating events for Ridgefield Commemorates America’s 250 (RCA250). 068 Magazine also celebrates individuals who contribute their time and talent to make the 068 area such a vibrant community. I am proud to call myself a first generation American and a Ridgefielder.
