Vida Goncalves
Vida Goncalves is a recent CT State Community College graduate with an Associate Degree in Digital Arts Technology and a certification in Print and Screen Designs. She is currently a design intern and sales representative at 068 Magazine, and worked to design and publish the new 067 NexGen Magazine. For this issue’s Art in the Spotlight on page #18, Vida writes about her experience working as an graphic design intern for Colabella Media.

Carolyn Prusa
Carolyn Prusa adores writing for magazines because it usually involves meeting creative people doing wonderful things. She published her first novel, None of This Would Have Happened If Prince Were Alive: A Novel and is working on her next one during soccer practice at the Danbury Sports Dome. She lives in Redding and enjoys time with her dog Dale, the giant rescue Wookiee.
On page #52, Carolyn explores the growing trend of mobile pet services in the 068 area.

Erik Ofgang is the co-author of The Good Vices: From Beer to Sex, The Surprising Truth About What’s Actually Good For You and the author of Buzzed: A Guide to New Englands Best Craft Beverages and Gillette Castle: A History. He is the former senior writer at Connecticut Magazine and his work has appeared in the Washington Post, Atlantic, Thrillist, and Associated Press. Erik takes a look at independent movie theaters on page #42. He also highlights The Haven, a new speakeasy in Norwalk on page #54.
