Nature’s Temptations‘ Chef Liz has shared with us another soul-nourishing recipe: Farro & White Bean Simmered in Fresh Tomatoes with Garlic & Spinach. These ingredients offer an excellent source of protein, may reduce the risk of heart disease and cancer, and protect bone, eye, brain & heart health. All ingredients can be purchased at Nature’s Temptations in Ridgefield, Connecticut.

Farro & White Bean Simmered in Fresh Tomatoes with Garlic & Spinach
Ingredients:
3 cups farro, cooked
2 cups white beans, cooked
3 cups baby spinach
4 tomatoes, small dice
1/2 small onion, small dice
2 tsp garlic
1 1/2 Tbsp olive oil
1/2 tsp real salt
Method:
1. In a medium sauté pan over medium heat, warm the oil. Add the tomatoes, onion, garlic, stir. Let sauté in pan for 3 minutes.
2. Stir in the farro, white beans, and spinach. Adjust flavor.
